Make Good Art

Book Review, Lifestyle

On this 100th blogpost, I can’t think of more inspiring piece of work to share. In the New York Public Library bookstore, I found this book of Neil Gaiman’s speech at The University of the Arts in Pennsylvania. It is truly inspiring for artists of all kinds.

To be a successful freelancer you only need to have two of three things;

  1. Be pleasant
  2. Create good work
  3. Deliver work on time

Everything he has to say couldn’t be more true. I feel like I’m one of those students so ready to hear these words of encouragement to go out and do what I feel created to do. Time you spend creating art is never a waste of time.

I highly recommend watching the whole speech. This was the best 20 minutes I’ve spent all day.
